Asian Pork Burgers with Teriyaki Ketchup
My family loves "international burgers" to change things up a bit and this fits the bill deliciously!

6egg hamburger rolls
4 ozmushrooms, finely chopped
2scallions, finely chopped
11 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
1small can water chestnuts, small chop
1 lbground pork
1/4 cteriyaki stir fry sauce
1/4-1/2 cplain breadcrumbs, preferably panko
1/2 cketchup, regular or low-sugar
1/4-1/2 cteriyaki stir fry sauce
How to Make Asian Pork Burgers with Teriyaki Ketchup
- Mix together all the ingredients for the burger, adding only enough breadcrumbs so that the mixture holds together.
- Shape into six equal patties. Place on grill and cook about 5 minutes per side or until the pork is cooked, but still juicy. Turn only once.
- While the burger are cooking make the ketchup. Add the teriyaki stir fry sauce to taste.
- Heat the buns, but don't toast them. Place one burger on each bun, add a dollop of the ketchup, top and enjoy!
