This pork began as a stir fry ingredient, then took a southeast turn and ended up being a sub sammie. You could put this pork on cardboard and it would be delicious!!!

How To Make asian inspired sub sammies

  • Step 1
Mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, lime juice and black pepper. Grate garlic into mixture, mix together.
  • Step 2
I'm sure different cuts of pork would work, but pork steak were on sale so that's what I used. Slice your pork thinly against the grain.
  • Step 3
Place pork in ziploc bag and add marinade. Place bag in a bowl or pan and marinade 24 hrs. Remove marinade and grill indoor or out.
  • Step 4
Slice veggies and drizzle with a little olive oil, sprinkle with a small amount of granulated garlic and grill.
  • Step 5
Spread butter on the inside of your sub buns, sprinkle with granulated garlic or garlic salt, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  • Step 6
Toast buns in 400° oven till slightly browned. Place pork and veggies inside and enjoy. Add your favorite Asian condiments!!!
