This a very easy dish.This is my mother-in-laws favorite dish and I always try to make it for her at least once when she comes to visit!Keeps her HAPPY!

Ingredients
- 3 pounds pork cut into large cubes. (may also use boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs large cubed or beef large cubed if preferred)
- 1/2 cup olive oil or conola oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce, dark
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup 7-up
- 3 - garlic cloves, smashed
- 3 - stick green onion
- 3 - bay leaves
- 3 - star anise
- 1 - white onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
How To Make asian adobo or humba

Step 1Cook the Pork in 4 quart or larger pan in conola or olive oil until golden brown.Drain fat from the pan.

Step 2Add all remaining ingredients to the pan with the pork.

Step 3Cover tightly and let simmer over low/medium heat,until pork is tender (about 3 hours).

Step 4Turn of heat cover and let stand for 15 minutes before serving.Serve over your rice of choice or even noodles.
