Ingredients
- 4 - lean, bone-in pork chops
- 1 pound applewood smoked bacon
- 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper.
- 1 large granny smith apple, cored, diced.
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 teaspoons butter
How To Make apple smoked pork chops

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Season pork chops w/ salt & pepper. Wrap each chop w/ 3 slices bacon per chop. Place in shallow baking dish. Bake for about 20 min.Bacon should be crisp. To make apple glaze, In lg skillet, over med-high heat, saute apple in 1 tsp butter until a little soft. Add cider, reduce heat to medium. Cook until liquid is reduced by half. Add butter, stir well. Pour glaze over cooked chops.
