How To Make apple beer bbq pork chops

  • 1
Make sauce the day before or early in the day, so it will be chilled before using.
  • 2
Place only 1/2 cup of Apple Beer and all of the other sauce ingredients in a blender. Not a food processor. Blend on medium for 3 minutes.
  • 3
Pour into a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
  • 4
Reduce heat and simmer for at 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, to combine flavors and thicken.
  • 5
Remove from heat and chill prior to use. Keeps well refrigerated. Keep it away from your Apple Beer in the refrigerator. It tends to take the chill off.
  • 6
Coat each chop thoroughly, both sides, with sauce. When the grill drops to medium heat, place chops over the heat to sear about 3 minutes each side. When seared, coat with more sauce and turn. Cook over medium heat, 10 minutes on one side, then add more sauce and turn. Cook 10 minutes. Add more sauce and turn. Cook additional 10 minutes.
