Ingredients

  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    uncooked wild rice
  • 1 1/2 lb
    leftover roast pork,cubed
  • 6
    leftover baked pork chops,discard bones and sliced
  • 1
    container shredded pork with barbecue sauce or 1 cup shredded pork
  • 1/2 c
    crumbled cooked bacon
  • 2
    (10.75) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    cubed cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1
    (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli,thawed

How to Make All-American Pork Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place wild rice and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.Once the water is boiling,reduce heat to low,cover and simmer for 20 minutes,or until rice is tender.
  3. In a large bowl,mix together the cubed roast pork,sliced pork chops,shredded pork,crumbled bacon,rice and broccoli.Stir in the cream of mushroom soup,cream cheese,then season with pepper and curry powder.Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish,and cover with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven,until evenly heated through.Remove the aluminum foil for the last 5 minutes in the oven.
