alfredo pizza bread
I love food and I love to cook, but I don't want to spend all day doing it! This is an easy way to make pizza, with grab off the shelf and out of the freezer ingredients. Simple, but people love it. I think I got the original recipe out of a "Taste Of Home" magazine years ago...

Ingredients
- 1 - long loaf of uncut french bread
- 1 pound italian pork sausage
- 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 1/2 cups alfredo sauce (my favorite is bertolli's)
- 1 cup mozzerella cheese, shredded
How To Make alfredo pizza bread
-
Step 1Brown sausage and drain oil. Add onion and mushrooms and continue browning until onion is soft. Add Alfredo sauce to meat mixture.
-
Step 2Slice fr. bread sideways from one tip to the other. Open up bread, place on cookie sheet and spread meat/Alfredo mixture on both pieces of bread. Sprinkle cheese on top.
-
Step 3Brown in broiler on high for a few minutes until cheese is melted and browned just a little. Watch carefully! Remove and slice to desired size.
