Ingredients

  • 2 cups tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 1/2 pounds pork shoulder

How To Make adobo pork

  • Step 1
    In a food processor or blender, combine first 7 ingredients until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Cut pork shoulder in half and put into 5 quart slow cooker. Pour tomato mixture over the pork and cook on high for 8 hours.
  • Step 3
    Remove meat from slow cooker and cool slightly. Shred the meat and serve on buns or eat with plain, hot cooked rice
