    italian pork sausage
  • 1-1/4 c
  • 14 ounce can(s)
    diced tomatoes with garlic and basil
  • 8 oz can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 8 oz
    uncooked, dry penne pasta
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese

How to Make 5 Ingredient Italian Sausage and Pasta


  1. In large skillet, over medium heat, add sausage and cook for 5 minutes. Break sausage a part with spoon, to crumble. Then drain and return to skillet.
  2. Add water, undrained tomatoes and tomato sauce and pasta to skillet.Stir together. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat 15 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
  3. Sprinkle with parmesean cheese. Serve.
