This is such a comforting soup, especially served with hot corn bread! We love this!!!!! ENJOY!

Ingredients
- 1 - bag of 15 beans (20oz) -(raw beans)
- 5 large scallions, chopped
- 2 cups ham, diced
- 1 can original rotel
- 32 ounces chicken broth
- 3 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make 15 bean soup with ham

Step 1Clean your raw beans.

Step 2Put the clean raw beans in your crock-pot with the water, chicken broth and rotel. cook for 5 hours on low. If soaking them overnight the time will be reduced and then place all ingredients in for the total time until beans are tender. (ham, scallions...etc)

Step 3Add your ham, scallions, garlic powder and cumin. Turn on high for another 2 to 3 hours.

Step 4Whip up some cornbread and enjoy your meal!
