Ingredients For stuffed crust pizza wreath

  • 1 can
    13 oz. pillsbury pizza crust
  • 6
    string cheese
  • 1 can
    pizza sauce
  • 1 lg
    red bell pepper
  • 1 sm
    green bell pepper
  • 2 oz
    salami thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c
    fresh shredded parmesan cheese
  • chopped fresh cilantro or basil
  • melted truffle butter or regular butter

How To Make stuffed crust pizza wreath

    Unroll the pizza dough and roll it into a ball. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes. Cut the red bell pepper in half. Cut two long narrow pieces and use two pieces of the bottom to make a bow. Dice the remaining. Dice the green bell pepper.

    Preheat oven 400 degrees. Roll out the dough into a circle. Cut the middle out of the dough. I used a large oven safe skillet to make the pizza but a round pizza pan will do. Cut each of the cheese sticks in half and place around the edges of the dough rolling the dough over the cheese. Repeat all the way around the pizza

    Spread the sauce on the pizza. Top with the green and red bell pepper. Add the salami. Make a bow at the top with the pieces of red bell pepper.

    Melt the truffle butter or regular butter and brush around the edges. Bake about 25 to 30 minutes. Brush more butter around the edges and sprinkle with cilantro or basil and top with shredded Parmesan cheese
