This is kid tested and approved! I have a difficult time pleasing my son but he LOVED this one. I have also made this in a Philly Cheesesteak style but this "Spicy Italian" is his favorite. The Conecuh sausage gives it the heat and of course you can add as much as you like. It is super quick and easy to make on a busy weeknight. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

No need for takeout when you can make delicious calzones for the family at home. This recipe makes two large log type calzones. What makes this calzone a little different, is adding the spicy smoked kielbasa. It's a great addition combined with all the other flavors. These cheesy, gooey, easy, and delicious calzones will get two thumbs up from your entire crew.

Note: The brand of kielbasa sausage Sarah calls for is Conecuh. If you can't find this brand, any spicy smoked brand will work. The Test Kitchen

7For the square shaped: Fold over one end and then fold the other end to overlap. Fold the end pieces up to seal the calzone. Fold over so the seam is on the bottom. For the Round dough: Fold over like a crescent moon and pinch the ends to close the calzone.
