Ingredients
- 2 large 12-inch pizza crusts
- cornmeal, as needed for dusting
- 1 can pizza sauce (7.5 oz./213 ml)
- 1/2 cup red onions, diced
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained and diced
- 6 slices cooked bacon, cut into small pieces
- 2 large button mushrooms, washed and thinly sliced
- 2 cans smoked oysters, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (substitute mild paprika)
- 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
How To Make smoked oyster and bacon pizza

Step 1Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F and dust 2 pizza pans with cornmeal before placing the crusts.

Step 2Spread 1/2 cup per pizza with sauce, leaving about 1 inch around the edges.

Step 3Add onions, roasted red peppers, bacon, mushrooms, 1 can smoked oysters per pizza, hot paprika, cheddar cheese, and red pepper flakes.

Step 4Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 12 minutes.

Step 5Remove from the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before sprinkling on parsley and slicing.
