  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 3-4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make sicilian pizza

  • Step 1
    Add water, sugar and yeast to a stand mixer. Let yeast bloom.
  • Step 2
    Add flour to bowl and add salt and olive oil on top of flour.
  • Step 3
    Mix and knead until dough is smooth. Cover with plastic wrap in a greased bowl until doubled.
  • Step 4
    Then shape into pizza, Stromboli, Calzone, Garlic Knots or even Zeppolis I double this recipe to make a Sicilian Pizza
  • Step 5
    Bake pizza at 550 or as high as your oven will go
