- 16 ounces kielbasa sausages, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons margarine, divided
- 1 large vidalia sweet onion, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 16 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 prepared 16-inch pizza crust
- 2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese, divided
- 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 5 medium jalapenos, sliced into thick rings
- 20 frozen mini onion rings, thawed
How To Make seattle dog pizza
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
-
Step 2Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced kielbasa sausages and cook for 6 minutes until browned. Remove the sausages with a slotted spoon to drain on paper towel-lined plate. Set aside.
-
Step 3Heat margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add diced onion and saute for 5 minutes until translucent. Stir in flour and red pepper flakes, saute again for 3 minutes until golden brown.
-
Step 4Add heavy cream and cubed cream cheese into the onion mixture and mix until smooth and spreadable. Remove from heat.
-
Step 5Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza crust; top with 1 cup shredded monterey jack and Parmesan cheeses. Arrange cooked sausage pieces, fresh jalapeno slices and onion rings over the cheese layer.
-
Step 6Sprinkle remaining monterey jack all over the topping.
-
Step 7Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
