This recipe is great for dinner, a party, or something to bring to a social. I have made these for years and I don't remember if someone told me about it or I came up with it but my family and friends enjoy them. If you are serving this type of pizza for dinner you might want to double the recipe and serve it with a salad. These pizza's can be made ahead of time and frozen. You do not have to thaw before cooking. This recipe is ideal for last minute snacks or appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 6 - large italian rolls (round) or english muffins (i use english muffins)
  • 1-2 teaspoon olive oil per half and rub into roll or muffin
  • 1 tablespoon sauce to each roll or muffin
  • - sprinkle (over sauce) a little oregano, black pepper and grated parmesan cheese.
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese (1 slice per roll or muffin)
  • - add slivers of salami or pepperoni

How To Make quick and easy pizza pie

  • Step 1
    Oil the bottom of a cookie sheet with olive oil.
  • Step 2
    Cut the rolls or English Muffins in half and place each half on the cookie sheet.
  • Step 3
    1 to 2 tsp. of olive oil on each half of roll or English Muffin and spread around.
  • Step 4
    Spread a small amount of sauce on each half.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle with a little oregano, pepper and grated Parmesan Cheese.
  • Step 6
    Top with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
  • Step 7
    Add the slivers of salami or pepperoni slices.
  • Step 8
    Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.
