Pizza - such a fun food and everyone has a different favorite topping or 2. We do pizza night once in a while and it's fun to create your own. There are no rules, limitations, or boundaries except for oven temperature and time in the oven. Make 1 large pizza, a couple of mediums, or several small or even a bunch of 1 bite pizzas - no rules! Sauce and topping are whatever you feel like - if you want ranch dressing for sauce then do it! Others in your group don't like it, they can use something else! Do you want all meats, all veggies, BBQ, taco, or PB&J? No Rules!

How To Make no rules build your own pizza

Note: Regarding the crust. Use what you like - dough in a refrigerated tube, mix from a box, premade crust or from frozen bread dough. If you are wanting to make little mini pizzas, consider using frozen bread dough balls. Each frozen dough ball makes a great tiny pizza

Preheat oven to 350 Line baking sheet with foil or you can use a cast iron skillet or a pizza tray or stone. We like a thicker crust so I use frozen bread dough. Thaw a loaf of frozen bread dough then place onto floured surface. Form into a ball and cut into however many pieces (pizzas) you will be making. Take each section you've cut and roll it out. Place onto foil lined baking sheet and shape as desired. Dock it with a fork then brush very lightly with oil or garlic butter. Bake for 10 minutes then remove from oven and dress it.

Use any topping you enjoy in any combination - remember - No Rules :)

Once the crust is partially cooked, spread your sauce to the edges. Then sprinkle with parmesan cheese - amount is to your liking.

Begin topping with a layer of shredded mozzarella, then the meats, then the vegies. If you like a lot of sauce you might even want to put a bit more on top now. I like to top mine with a little bit more cheese before the final bake.

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the dough is done. If you like extra browning on your crust and the top of your pizza, turn on the broiler for a couple of minutes.

The pizza in the photo is made from frozen bread dough, Prego garlic and onion pasta sauce, italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, green pepper, onion, dill pickle, pineapple and mozzarella. I do enjoy switching up the cheeses from time to time - use what you like because there are No Rules :)
