marinato-style margherita pizza
"Marinato Style" pizzas are my specialty. No red sauce! I use the fresh taste of marinated grape tomatoes instead. This Margherita pizza is a perfect example: the tomatoes are sliced and marinated overnight with sliced garlic, fresh basil, olive oil, and black pepper. No salt!! There's enough of it in the cheese and the crust!! The leftover marinade from the tomatoes soaks into the crust to add more flavor. Mozz, prov, and Fontina cheeses round out this perfect example of using the ingredients WITHIN the meal to flavor it. Make this and freeze it!
