Ingredients

  • 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • 1 pound store bought or homemade pizza dough
  • 1 jar store bought or homemade basil pesto
  • shredded chicken
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
  • fresh basil leaves

How To Make chicken pesto pizza

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Place the tomatoes sliced side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Place in the oven and roast for about 7 minutes. Remove from the oven.
  • Step 2
    Drizzle some olive oil over a round pizza pan. Stretch out your dough over the pan and poke holes in the dough with a fork. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven.
  • Step 3
    Brush the pesto over the pizza dough. Scatter the roasted cherry tomatoes and shredded chicken over the pesto.
  • Step 4
    Tear up the mozzarella and place on the pizza. Top with the basil leaves. Bake about 7 more minutes until the cheese is melted. Remove, cut, and serve.
