- 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
- olive oil
- salt
- 1 pound store bought or homemade pizza dough
- 1 jar store bought or homemade basil pesto
- shredded chicken
- 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
- fresh basil leaves
How To Make chicken pesto pizza

Step 1Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Place the tomatoes sliced side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Place in the oven and roast for about 7 minutes. Remove from the oven.

Step 2Drizzle some olive oil over a round pizza pan. Stretch out your dough over the pan and poke holes in the dough with a fork. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven.

Step 3Brush the pesto over the pizza dough. Scatter the roasted cherry tomatoes and shredded chicken over the pesto.

Step 4Tear up the mozzarella and place on the pizza. Top with the basil leaves. Bake about 7 more minutes until the cheese is melted. Remove, cut, and serve.
