Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 2 ounces pepperoni
- 1/2 medium green pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
How To Make cast iron skillet pizza

Step 1Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Lightly grease or oil a 10 or 12-inch cast-iron skillet.

Step 2Pat out the pizza dough in the cast-iron skillet. Poke it well with a table fork. See the picture above.

Step 3Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, sprinkle with oregano, and top with the Parmesan and 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese. Top with pepperoni, green pepper, and onion. Top with the remaining cheese.

Step 4Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
