I tried this with Italian sausage and hamburger, mushrooms and onion. Next time only use one additional meat (to the pepperoni, or omit the pepperoni), it was too much meat for the crust ratio.

Ingredients
- 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp dried
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 1/2 ounces pepperoni slices, chopped
- 4 slices monterey jack cheese, chopped (i used italian blend cheese, shredded)
- 2 - 10 oz cans refrigerated pizza crusts
- 2 cups pasta sauce
How To Make calzones

Step 1Stir together first 5 ingredients until blended then add cheese and pepperoni. Divide each crust into 2 portions and roll dough into a 7" circle. Spoon 1/2 c cottage cheese mixture into center of each circle, fold dough over filling and press edges to seal. Place on lightly greased tin foil lined cookie sheets. Prick dough with a fork several times. Bake at 375 degrees 20-25 min or until golden. Let stand 5 min and serve with warm pasta sauce.
