Ingredients
- BLACK FOREST HAM PIZZA WITH ANCHOVY BASIL PESTO, GOAT CHEESE & BALSAMIC GLAZE
- FOR THE BASIL ANCHOY PESTO
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 3 anchovies diced small
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts
- 1 teaspoon drained capers
- olive oil
- FOR THE PIZZA
- 1 refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 ounces black forest ham sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion chopped
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup goat cheese
- fresh basil chiffonade
- FOR THE BALSAMIC GLAZE
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
How To Make black forest ham pizza w anchoy basil pesto

Step 1To make the pesto Place all ingredients in a food processor and while processing drizzle in oil to make a thick consistency.

Step 2To make the pizza. Roll out the dough in a square. Place a pizza stone in the over and preheat oven 400 degrees.

Step 3Spread the pesto on the pizza dough. Top with the mozzarella cheese, then the black forest ham, red onion, parmesan cheese then drop the goat cheese as best as you can. Brush the edges with some olive oil

Step 4Place on a well floured Pizza peel and transfer to the pizza stone in the oven. Bake about 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 5While the pizza is baking mix the balsamic vinegar and sugar together on a stove top and bring to a boil. Reduce to a thick glaze. you can also use store bought balsamic glaze.

Step 6Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top and garnish with basil leaves.
