Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 - heaping tablespoon cornmeal
- 2 ½ cups diced cooked chicken
- 2/3 cup barbecue sauce
- ¼ - medium red onion, thinly sliced (see notes)
- 1/3 cup sliced pepperoncinis
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
How To Make bbq chicken pizza

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Step 2Sprinkle the cornmeal on a pizza stone or pizza pan. Pat the pizza dough out into a 12-inch circle. Prebake the pizza crust for 5-6 minutes in the preheated oven. Let the pizza dough cool for a few minutes.

Step 3In a medium bowl, stir the diced chicken with 1/3 cup barbecue sauce and set it aside. Spread the dough with the remaining 1/3 cup barbecue sauce and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the pizza with the diced chicken.

Step 4Top with red onions and pepperoncini. Sprinkle with the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.

Step 5Bake for 13-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown. Sprinkle with the chopped cilantro. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing.
