Ingredients
- 1 package of 2 squares puff pastry thawed
- 1 medium medium onion
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 4 - thick slices of bacon or 8 thin
- 10 - mushrooms
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- - pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar blend cheese
- - arugula to garnish
How To Make bacon double cheeseburger tart

Step 1Peel and slice the onion. In a large pan heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Step 2Add the onions to the oil, season with salt and pepper and cook until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Set the onions aside in a bowl.

Step 3Cook the bacon and dice into small pieces. Set aside Clean the mushrooms and pulse in a food processor until finely chopped. Add the mushrooms to the frying pan along with the ground beef. Cook until no longer pink.

Step 4Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Step 5Roll both squares of the puffed pastry into roughly 9x13 size. Top with pizza sauce, beef mixture, bacon and onions. Finish with the grated cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Step 6Cool 5 minutes before slicing Garnish with Arugula.
