My son in law Antoni loves " man" food and he came up w/ this recipe himself and served it for a football game we were all watching. I loved it so much, I begged him for the recipe and he said, " Mom, anything for you." Such a sweetie:-) I usually don't like Philly cheesesteak but this pizza is too good to NOT love it. Ingredients For antoni's philly cheesesteak pizza

  • 1 can
    refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 lg
    red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 lg
    green bell pepper, sliced into rings
  • 1-1/2 c
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 sm
    onion, sliced thin
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    oil, i used canola
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 c
    pizza sauce, i like prego's
  • 2 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 c
    cooked, shredded beef, or deli style beef sliced very thin
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed italian herbs

How To Make antoni's philly cheesesteak pizza

    Heat oven to 425. Spray a cookie sheet w/ cooking spray or lightly oil the sheet. Spread out the pizza dough to fit the pan as much as you can. I lightly oil my hands before doing this, it keeps the dough from sticking to your hands.

    Bake the dough for about 4-6 mins or until browned. Add oil to a lg skillet, over med-high heat. Add both bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. saute until soft. Add garlic, saute 1 min more.

    Spread pizza sauce over crust, dot w/ cream cheese. Sprinkle w/ mozzarella cheese. Spoon the veggies over the cheese. Place beef over veggies and sprinkle w/ cheddar cheese. Sprinkle w/ the herbs. Bake 10 mins or until hot and bubbly and cheeses are melted.
