yummy spaghetti casserole!

I added my own twist to an old favorite!! Feel free to add anything you like. I've added pepperonni to this and the kids loved it!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces thin spaghetti
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (or your own special recipe)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 medium onion chopped
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms (opt)
  • 1 package philadephia cooking creme-garlic
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 cup shredded chedder or mozzerella cheese

How To Make yummy spaghetti casserole!

  • Step 1
    Cook spaghetti according to package directions. In the meantime, brown ground beef with garlic, onion, and italian seasoning. Drain. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer till hot and bubbly. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Drain spaghetti and return to warm pot. Add cooking creme, cottage cheese, parmesan, and mushrooms (opt) to warm pasta. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Step 3
    Add spaghetti mixture to greased 9x13 casserole dish. Cover with meat sauce. Top with shredded cheese. Sprinkle with basil.
  • Step 4
    Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until bubbly and cheese is melted. Serve with garlic bread!
