A quick recipe to satisfy your noodle craving - by Sandra Lee. Yakisoba are Japanese noodles that you may find in the refrigerated section of your grocery store.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (32 oz) chicken broth, reduced sodium
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup frozen carrot slices
  • 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon szechuan stir-fry sauce
  • 17 ounces yakisoba noodles, refrigerated
  • 1 pound medium cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

How To Make yakisoba noodle bowl with shrimp

  • Step 1
    In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, frozen peas, frozen carrots, sesame oil, soy sauce and stir-fry sauce. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat. Simmer for about 6 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add noodles and return to boiling. Reduce heat again and simmer for another 2 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add cooked shrimp and simmer for another 1-2 minutes, or until the shrimp are heated through.
  • Step 4
    Using tongs, divide the noodles among 4 soup bowls. Add the shrimp and ladle in broth and veggies. Enjoy!
