Ingredients For white clam sauce with linguine

    butter
  • 2
    clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 can
    (10 1/2 ounces) each minced clams
  • 1/4 c
    chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3/4 tsp
    basil
  • 12 oz
    cooked linguine

How To Make white clam sauce with linguine

  • 1
    Heat butter and cook garlic in it, 1 minute. Blend in flour. Add other ingredients, except linguine, and simmer, covered, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Serve over cooked linguine. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
