Ingredients
- 10 ounces angel hair pasta
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 can cannellini beans, drained (15 oz)
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- shaved Parmesan, for garnish
How To Make white bean pesto pasta

Step 1Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Add the peas during the last couple of minutes. Reserve some pasta water and drain.

Step 2Place the beans, basil, grated Parmesan, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil in a food processor. Process until well incorporated. Add a little pasta water if too thick.

Step 3Place the pasta with peas back in the pan and stir in the pesto over low heat until heated through. Serve with shaved Parmesan on top.
