I practically live on this when tomatoes are in season. It's super easy and everyone loves it. This is not supposed to be cold, or hot. Warm is perfect.

Ingredients For warm feta, tomato, pasta salad

  • 8
    plum tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 c
    lightly packed shredded fresh basil leaves
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 4-6 oz
    feta cheese, diced
  • 12 oz
    ziti, penne, or rotini pasta
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make warm feta, tomato, pasta salad

    Mix together the tomatoes, oil, basil, garlic, and S&P to taste. Let sit at room temp for 1 - 3 hours,

    Bring feta cheese to room temperature.

    Cook the pasta until al dente. Mix with tomato mixture, then gently toss with feta cheese.
