This recipe is pretty simple to make and a crowd-pleaser. I generally pair it with grilled chicken, penne pasta, and broccoli. You can omit the vodka, cream, and parmesan and have a decent marinara sauce as well.

Ingredients For vodka sauce for pasta

1/2 stickbutter

1-2 cloveminced garlic

1/4 tspred pepper flakes

15 ozcanned tomato sauce or crushed tomatos

1/4 cvodka
-
1-1.5 ptheavy cream
-
3 Tbspparmesan cheese

4 tspfresh basil (to taste really)

1 lbpasta of choice
How To Make vodka sauce for pasta

1Melt butter, saute garlic and pepper flakes for 1 minute
-
2Add tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes) and vodka, simmer for 15 minutes, then remove from heat -- (start boiling water for your pasta)

3Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and basil. Return to heat and cook another 15 minutes (or until your pasta is done cooking)
