turkey tetrazzini
This is a family favorite. We make this every year the day after thanksgiving. On a personal note: I don't layer mine. I simply mix everything up in a big bowl then spread it out in my casserole pan. This can also be made ahead of time and frozen. To serve from freezer, heat covered in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours or until bubbly hot.

Ingredients
- 1 pound cut up turkey
- 2/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 gram ground white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped pimento
- 4 oz cans mushroom pieces, undrained
- 7 oz packages spaghetti, cooked and drained
How To Make turkey tetrazzini

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2Melt butter in saucepan. Cook onion until tender over medium high heat.

Step 3Blend in flour and seasonings. Remove from heat.

Step 4Gradually stir in milk. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture thickens. Add 2/3 cup shredded cheese and pimento. Continue stirring until cheese melts. Stir in mushrooms.

Step 5Spray 12 x 8 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 6Layer ingredients 1/3 cooked spaghetti. 1/3 turkey 1/3 cheese sauce repeat layering 2 more times.

Step 7Sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese.

Step 8Bake covered for 25 minutes
