This a quick meal to prepare and especially all the ingredients are probably in your cupboard and refrigerator.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 small green sweet pepper, chopped
  • 1 small sweet red pepper chopped
  • can {10 3/4 ounce}cream of mushroom soup undiluted
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can {12 ounce} ctuna, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 jar drained diced pimentoes {optional}
  • 1/2 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

How To Make tuna noodle casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook noodles according to package directions, In skillet saute the onion, celery and peppers until tender. set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a saucepan combine the soup, cheddar cheese and milk, cook and stir over medium heat until cheese melts
  • Step 3
    Drain the noodles and place into a large bowl, add the vegetables, mayonnaise, soup mixture, tuna and pimentoes, pour into a casserole and cook uncovered at 350F for 25 to 30 minutes,remove from oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese., serve with crusty rolls or garlic bread.
