My husband, daughter and grandkids love this recipe. It's a great comfort food to come home to after a long day.

Ingredients

  • 1-16oz bag of egg noodles (wide)
  • 1-14.75oz can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1-15oz can of peas
  • 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 stalks of celery finely chopped
  • 1 cup of onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 cup of crushed french fried onions
  • 2 cans of tuna packed in water
  • 1 can of mushrooms stems and pieces

How To Make tuna noodle casserole

  • Step 1
    Salt water cook noodles till al dente 7-9 minutes. Do not rinse noodles let cool.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile chop the celery and onion.
  • Step 3
    Mix all ingredients together except french fried onions. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes put french fried onions on top and bake 5 more minutes or until browned.
