tuna cassarole

I've ate many different Tuna Cassaroles & I usually liked each one. But, this is the one my mother always made & I do today. I just have not met anyone who makes it this way or uses these ingredients in theirs. It is the only Tuna Cassarole that my brother liked. And it is every bit of a 50 year old or older family recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 can tuna, canned
- 1 can mushroom pieces
- 3 - eggs, hard boiled
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- pinch - salt
- 1/2 package saltine cracker crumbs
How To Make tuna cassarole

Step 1boil 3 eggs & cool. cut up eggs.add 1 can tuna,(tuna may be with or without oil or in water)I like using Tuna in oil. add 1 sm. can mushroom pieces (drained)put into cassarole dish into white sauce -made as below

Step 23 Tablespoons flour,1 cup milk, pinch salt. stir constantly over med heat until thickens & creamy.pour into cassarole dish. stir all ingredients together. Crush 1/2 to 3/4 pack of saltine crackers over top of mixed ingredients.Bake in a 350 degree oven until bubbly & crackers turn lightly golden brown.
