Ingredients For truffle mac and cheese

  • 1 lb
    penne pasta
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 3 Tbsp
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 1 lb
    sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbsp
    white truffle oil
  • black truffle salt

How To Make truffle mac and cheese

  • 1
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain.

    In the same pan, add the butter and once melted, whisk in the flour and cook, whisking 5 minutes.
  • 3
    Add the milk slowly while whisking until thickened.
  • 4
    Add the grated cheese and stir until the cheese is melted.
  • 5
    Add the oil and then the pasta and mix well. Serve with a little black truffle salt sprinkled on top.
