Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 quart chicken broth
- 9 ounces cheese tortellini
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 can stewed tomatoes ( 14 1/2 ounce can), chopped
- 1/2 box frozen, chopped spinach
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
How To Make tortellini & spinach soup

Step 1Melt butter and saute onions and garlic until soft. Stir in broth.

Step 2Add tortellini, salt, pepper, stewed tomatoes, spinach and basil. Bring to a boil.

Step 3Lower heat and simmer for approximately 5 minutes.

Step 4Serve and pass parmesean cheese to sprinkle on top.
