Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 pound prosciutto, chopped
- 16 ounces can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
- 10 3/4 ounces can tomato puree
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated romano cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried whole oregano
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup marsala wine
- 2 packages fresh cheese or meat-filled tortellini (8 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup grated romano cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
How To Make tortellini con prosciutto

Step 1Saute garlic in olive oil and 1 tablespoon melted butter in a large saucepan until golden brown. Add prosciutto and the next 6 ingredients; bring to a boil.

Step 2Reduce heat, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until the mixture thickens. Add the wine, and cook 1 to 2 minutes.

Step 3Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain; place in a bowl. Add 1/4 cup Romano cheese and 1 tablespoon butter; toss.

Step 4Pour the prosciutto mixture over the tortellini; toss. Sprinkle with parsley.
