I am posting this recipe using pre-packaged tortellini. I love to make my own sometimes, but who always has time for that? (And that in itself is another recipe altogether!)If you have the time to work on this all day you could very easily make your own Marinara, Alfredo and Tortellini. I will try and get those recipes up soon!

prep time 20 Min
cook time 20 Min
method ---
yield 8-10 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 jar 24oz marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 1 jar 16oz alfredo sauce
  • 1 box 10oz frozen spinich
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 package 8oz package of mozerella
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesian cheese
  • 1 teaspoon more italian seasoning
  • 1 package large bag of cheese toertellini
  • 2 packages regular sized any kind of tortellini you like (i like the italian sausage)
  • 1 package italian sausage

How To Make tortellini bake

  • Step 1
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. (Always remember keeping a lid on water brings it to boil faster!) Turn on oven to broil and set rack close, but not on the highest rack. Generously grease a 8x9 bake dish.
  • Step 2
Bring Marinara, Alfredo, Spinach, and 1 tablespoon of Italian Seasonings to a simmer over medium-high heat, lower to medium-low and simmer for 10min.
  • Step 3
In a separate pan brown and cook the Italian sausage all the way through, chop it up to bite sized pieces.
  • Step 4
Stir the cooked Tortellini and Sausage into the sauce mixture. Pour this into your prepared baking dish, top with the mix of Mozzarella Cheese and Parmesan onto the top, sprinkle with remaining Italian Seasoning.
  • Step 5
I like to set it into a hot oven for 15min to get bubbly, you don't have to. Then move it closer to the broiler allowing the cheese on top to brown nicely. Remove from oven, let rest for 10min, and enjoy!
