If I had to pick a recipe that was my favorite, it would have to be this one. Given me by a beloved friend, I have made it hundreds of times. Be sure to use the freshest basil and tomato you can find.

Ingredients
- 4 - large ripe tomatos, diced
- 8 oz - brie cheese, rind removed and diced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 4-6 cloves garlic...more if you like garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
- 1 pound linguine pasta
How To Make tomato, basil and brie linguine

Step 1Combine first seven ingredients. Stir lightly to combine.

Step 2Let stand for 6 hours at room temperature

Step 31/2 hour before dining, cook linguine al dente. Drain.

Step 4Toss tomato mixture with the warm pasta. Let stand 15-20m min. before serving.

Step 5Serve with grated Asiago cheese and warm bread. A meal for the gods.....
