I love Shrimp Scampi but always found it to be oily. I revamped the dish and this is my version of Shrimp Scampi...enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 - knorr chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/2 box angel hair pasta
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 cup white cooking wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • - black pepper (to taste)

How To Make tiff's shrimp scampi

  • Step 1
    Melt 2 Heaping Tbsp Butter. Add 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic. Bring Butter and Garlic to Boil. Add Shrimp. Bring to Boil over Medium Heat.
  • Step 2
    Add 1 Cup Cooking White Wine. Add 1 Knorr Chicken Bouillon Cube, 1 Tbsp Parsley and Pepper (To Taste). Bring to Boil over Medium Heat. Remove from Heat.
  • Step 3
    Strain Liquid off Shrimp into Bowl. Add 1 Heaping Tbsp Flour. Whisk Mixture until fully thickened. Add 1 Cup Water and Whisk.
  • Step 4
    Pour Mixture back over Shrimp. Bring to Boil over Low to Medium Heat until thickened (5 to 10 min). Remove from Heat and add Noodles. Stir until Noodles are covered with Sauce.
  • Step 5
    Enjoy!
