My husband and I decided to make a tuna casserole last night. I chose 3 recipes and we put them all together - taking away and adding. This recipe is what we came up with. We took it over to my husbands brother and sister-in-law and they loved it as well. This is so yummy and by far the best tuna casserole I have ever had!

1 pkg
medium egg noodles - cooked and drained
3 can(s)
5 oz tuna in water
3 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup - undiluted
1 pkg
16 oz frozen mixed veggies
1 pkg
4 cups mild cheddar cheese - shredded
small onion - finely diced and sauteed until translucent
sleeves of club crackers crushed fine
1 stick
butter - melted
1 c
small container of sour cream

How to Make The Ultimate Tuna Cassarole


  • 1Preheat over to 350 degrees. Mix in large bowl tuna, soup, onion, mayo, frozen veggies, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar
  • 2Next fold in cooked egg noodles then spread mixture in 9X13 pan sprayed with non-stick spray
  • 3Cover with remaining cheese.
  • 4mix melted margarine and crushed crackers till well coated and sprinkle over casserole. Bake till golden and bubbly.
