chili powder

2 Tbsp
butter, melted

taco sauce
1 c
shredded cheddar cheese
1 c
shredded monterey jack cheese
1 1/2 c
tortilla chips, crushed
1 c
sour cream
3
chopped green onions

How to Make Tacos In Pasta Shells

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook, rinse and drain pasta shells.
  • 2Cut cream cheese into cubes.
  • 3Cook beef in a large skillet over medium high heat until brown, stirring to separate meat; drain fat.
  • 4Reduce heat to medium low.
  • 5Add cream cheese, salt and chili powder; simmer 5 minutes.
  • 6Toss shells with butter; fill with beef mixture.
  • 7Arrange shells in buttered 13x9" pan.
  • 8Pour taco sauce over each shell.
  • 9Cover with foil.
  • 10Bake in preheated 350 oven 15 minutes.
  • 11Uncover; top with cheddar cheese, monterey jack
    cheese and chips.
  • 12Bake 15 minutes more or until bubbly.
  • 13Top with sour cream and onions.
  • 14Garnish with lettuce.
