This dish is a great meal to throw together on a busy weeknight. Everyone in the family will love this. It's cheesy and full of so much flavor. The seasonings along with the fresh onions make the meat mixture super yummy. The noodles, with Jenni's cheese mixture, is nice and creamy. It's delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 pound egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 16 ounces cottage cheese (2 cups)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar jack cheese
How To Make taco noodle bake

Step 1Cook noodles according to package directions.

Step 2Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet with garlic, taco seasoning, and cayenne pepper. Drain.

Step 3Add water and tomato sauce.

Step 4Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

Step 5Meanwhile, in a large bowl, stir together cottage cheese, sour cream, flour, and bouillon granules. Mix well.

Step 6Add cooked noodles, green onion, and green pepper.

Step 7Spoon noodle mixture into a greased 9x13 pan.

Step 8Top with meat mixture.

Step 9Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Step 10Remove from oven and top with cheese.

Step 11Bake an additional 10 minutes.

Step 12Let sit a few minutes before serving.
