sweet n' tangy crab pasta salad

This recipe uses imitation crab, but feel free to use real crab instead. The honey adds a sweet flavor, while the Italian dressing adds the tangy flavor. Combined with some veggies and pasta, and you've got yourself a delicious meal which can be served hot or cold.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces spiral pasta
  • 2 cups flaky imitation crab
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup zucchini, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels, canned
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup italian dressing
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How To Make sweet n' tangy crab pasta salad

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta as instructed on package; drain and put in large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
    Heat oil over medium heat in pan and saute pepper, zucchini and onion for about 3-5 minutes. (You can also roast or grill the vegetables if you prefer)
  • Step 3
    Add vegetables and corn to pasta.
  • Step 4
    Flake the crab meat with your hands into the pasta bowl. Add the cheese.
  • Step 5
    Drizzle honey and dressing over pasta and mix to combine. Serve warm or cold.
