Ingredients

1 lbhamburg
-
1large onion, chopped
-
1 clovegarlic, chopped
-
8 ozmozzarella cheese, shredded
-
1/2 citalian bread crumbs
-
1/4 cchopped parsley
-
1egg
-
·salt and pepper to taste
-
18giant shells
-
1 jar(s)large spaghetti sauce or your own
-
1/3 cdry red wine (optional)
-
1/2 cgrated parmesan cheese
How to Make Stuffed Shells -
- Brown hamburg in skillet. Salt and pepper to taste. Drain, add onion and garlic. Cook about 3 minutes. Stir in mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, parsley and egg. Remove from heat.
- Cook shells in boiling salted water until aalmost tender. Drain and run under cold water so they will be easier to stuff.
Use meat mixture to stuff shells - Pour a layer of sauce over bottom of 9x13x2 pan.
Place shells on top of sauce side by side in a single layer. Mix wine with remaining sauce (optional) and pour over shells.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. - Note: can add or remove ingredients per your families preferences.
