Ingredients For steakhouse burger casserole

2 cchopped cooked onion rings,divided

12 ozuncooked ziti
-
2 tspolive oil
-
1red onion,diced
-
1 lbground beef
-
1 tspsteak seasoning
-
1 tspdried oregano
-
1 tspdried basil
-
1 tspseasoned pepper
-
3/4 csteak sauce
-
1 1/2 ccrumbled blue cheese
-
8white american cheese slices
-
1/4 cshredded parmesan cheese
How To Make steakhouse burger casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped onion rings into bottom of a 4 quart casserole dish.

2Cook pasta according to package directions;drain and set aside.

3Meanwhile,heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat;add diced red onion and saute 2 minutes.Add beef and cook until browned,breaking up meat with a spoon as it cooks,about 3 to 5 minutes;drain off any fat and set pan back over medium heat.

4Add steak seasoning,oregano,basil and seasoned pepper;stir to coat beef.Stir in steak sauce and bring mixture to a boil;reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

5Spoon a half amount of beef-onion mixture into a prepared baking dish;top with half of cooked ziti.Next layer with half crumbled blue cheese,layer with remaining beef-onion mixture and remaining ziti and then sprinkle with remaining blue cheese,white american and parmesan cheese and finally top with remaining chopped onion rings.

6Bake until the cheeses are bubbly,about 30 minutes.
