Spinach Tortellini with Goat Cheese Cream Sauce
1 pkgbertolli spinach & ricotta tortellini cooked according to package directions. drained
3 clovegarlic minced
1/4 cwhite wine
1 cheavy cream
4 ozgoat cheese
4 Tbspcold butter cut into chunks
·salt to taste
·fresh basil leaves for garnish
How to Make Spinach Tortellini with Goat Cheese Cream Sauce
- To make the sauce
Melt butter in a large saute pan. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute. Add the white wine and let most evaporate.
- Add the heavy cream and goat cheese. Cook until goat cheese is melted. Whisk in the butter one piece at a time whisking until butter is melted and emulified into the sauce.
- Season with salt. Serve the sauce over the cooked tortellini and garnish with basil.
