Ingredients For spinach tortellini with goat cheese cream sauce

  • 1 pkg
    bertolli spinach & ricotta tortellini cooked according to package directions. drained
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/4 c
    white wine
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 4 oz
    goat cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    cold butter cut into chunks
  • salt to taste
  • fresh basil leaves for garnish

How To Make spinach tortellini with goat cheese cream sauce

    To make the sauce Melt butter in a large saute pan. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute. Add the white wine and let most evaporate.

    Add the heavy cream and goat cheese. Cook until goat cheese is melted. Whisk in the butter one piece at a time whisking until butter is melted and emulified into the sauce.

    Season with salt. Serve the sauce over the cooked tortellini and garnish with basil.
