  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 clove
  • 8 oz
    macaroni,cooked and drained
  • 1 pkg
    spinach/thawed and drained
  • 2 c
  • 4
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    fresh grated parnesan cheese
  • 1 jar(s)
    meatless pasta sauce/heated (15 1/2 ounce size)

How to Make Spinach Macaroni Casserole


  1. In A SKILLET,LIGHTLY BROWN BEEF,STIRRING FREQUENTLY with onion and the garlic over medium-high heat[do not burn the garlic}
  2. In a bowl,mix the beef,cooked macaroni,spinach,milk,and the eggs,mozzarella cheese and 2 tbsps. of the parmasan cheese until well blended.
  3. Pour this into a GREASED 11 X7 X 2 inch baking dish
  4. sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese
  5. Cover dish with foil and BAKE at 350 degrees{preheated oven}about 45 minutes,or until SET IN CENTER.
  6. REMOVE FROM OVEN.Allow to set about 10 minutes,then cut into squares.
  7. Serve with the warmed pasta sauce on top.
  8. Great with a salad and warm rolls or bread.
