This is so unique and delish,that I have taken it to friends and they REQUEST IT again and again.A one dish WONDERFULL!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 8 ounces macaroni,cooked and drained
  • 1 package spinach/thawed and drained
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 - eggs,beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons fresh grated parnesan cheese
  • 1 jar meatless pasta sauce/heated (15 1/2 ounce size)

How To Make spinach macaroni casserole

  • Step 1
    In A SKILLET,LIGHTLY BROWN BEEF,STIRRING FREQUENTLY with onion and the garlic over medium-high heat[do not burn the garlic}
  • Step 2
    In a bowl,mix the beef,cooked macaroni,spinach,milk,and the eggs,mozzarella cheese and 2 tbsps. of the parmasan cheese until well blended.
  • Step 3
    Pour this into a GREASED 11 X7 X 2 inch baking dish
  • Step 4
    sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese
  • Step 5
    Cover dish with foil and BAKE at 350 degrees{preheated oven}about 45 minutes,or until SET IN CENTER.
  • Step 6
    REMOVE FROM OVEN.Allow to set about 10 minutes,then cut into squares.
  • Step 7
    Serve with the warmed pasta sauce on top.
  • Step 8
    Great with a salad and warm rolls or bread.
