lean ground beef
1/2 c
chopped onion
1 clove
8 oz
macaroni,cooked and drained
1 pkg
spinach/thawed and drained
2 c
1 1/2 c
shredded mozzarella cheese
4 Tbsp
fresh grated parnesan cheese
1 jar(s)
meatless pasta sauce/heated (15 1/2 ounce size)

How to Make Spinach Macaroni Casserole


  • 1In A SKILLET,LIGHTLY BROWN BEEF,STIRRING FREQUENTLY with onion and the garlic over medium-high heat[do not burn the garlic}
  • 2In a bowl,mix the beef,cooked macaroni,spinach,milk,and the eggs,mozzarella cheese and 2 tbsps. of the parmasan cheese until well blended.
  • 3Pour this into a GREASED 11 X7 X 2 inch baking dish
  • 4sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese
  • 5Cover dish with foil and BAKE at 350 degrees{preheated oven}about 45 minutes,or until SET IN CENTER.
  • 6REMOVE FROM OVEN.Allow to set about 10 minutes,then cut into squares.
  • 7Serve with the warmed pasta sauce on top.
  • 8Great with a salad and warm rolls or bread.
