spicy shrimp pasta
I make this when ever we entertain family and friends. It is a big hit and so very easy to make.

Ingredients
- 1 pound pasta of choice
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 - colves of garlic (minced)
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons minced cilantro
- 1 - small lemon, cut into wedges
How To Make spicy shrimp pasta

Step 1Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta. Drain and toss with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Place in a serving bowl and cover to keep warm.

Step 2In a large saute pan over medium heat adding just 1/4 cup of olive oil. Sprinkle in the red pepper flakes and garlic. Saute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook about 1 minute per side or until pink.

Step 3Season with salt and pepper. Add the shrimp mixture to the pasta and sprinkle with the cilantro. Toss to combine. Serve with lemon wadges and plenty of fresh crusty bread
